FROM “I COULD CALL THAT” TO PROVE IT
Here’s what you’re signing up for.
Set up your brawl and draft once. Each episode, return to make predictions before the broadcast deadline, then check the scores after you have watched. These real screens include the season’s cast. Open any screenshot for a closer look; published results examples start closed.
Private brawls & invitations A private brawl for two.
Create a brawl, give it a name, and send the invitation link to your rival. Each of you signs in to your own account. No league commissioner or group-chat recruitment required.
You both agree to the rules before the draft begins. This is Sequin Showdown, the real brawl we’ll follow through the next few screens.
Why just the two of you?
Because this is about bragging rights, not money. Beating the person on the other end of your sofa is plenty of motivation. Other services cater to bigger pools; we like the simplicity of one rival, two teams, and knowing exactly who gets to be smug.

Snake draft & team rosters Start mid-season. Lock in your team.
Missed premiere night? You can still start during the season, while there’s an eligible upcoming episode to play. Draft from the remaining couples before your brawl’s deadline. Your points start with your first eligible episode, with no retroactive scores.
First pick is randomly assigned. Then you take turns drafting couples in a snake order until both teams are full. Every couple you choose is yours alone, and every pick is final.
Shannon and Katie each drafted six couples here. Team sizes depend on the remaining cast; an odd pool leaves one couple undrafted so both teams finish the same size.
Why did we choose a snake draft?
Getting first pick is a nice advantage. A snake draft gives the second player the next two picks, then reverses the order each round. It helps balance that opening advantage and gives both of you a turn at choosing back-to-back favourites.

Weekly predictions Extra predictions. Extra bragging rights.
Your team gives you someone to root for. Weekly predictions give you more to compete over, even when your favourite has a rough night. Call the highest and lowest scores, eliminations and perfect scores across the competing cast, including couples you did not draft.
Correct calls earn extra points towards your overall score. It’s a fresh chance each week to prove you know the ballroom better than your rival, and make that “I told you so” count.
Submit before the displayed broadcast deadline. Choose Ready to lock when you are sure: your picks become final immediately. Your rival’s calls stay hidden until both players lock or the deadline arrives.
Learn how predictions work
Automatic scoring & standings Life gets busy. The ballroom can wait.
From your brawl’s first episode onward, no episode spoilers until you choose to reveal them. Verified results arrive automatically, but your scores, standings and eliminations stay hidden. We know life doesn’t always leave room for watching live.
Catch up one episode at a time. After you’ve watched, choose “I’ve watched” to reveal that week’s results, then move on when you’re ready. Your rival can watch and reveal at their own pace without revealing anything for you.
The exception is drafting during an ongoing season. The draft board shows who is still competing and who has already been eliminated, so catch up before choosing your team. Once drafted, future episode results stay behind your own reveal controls.
The scoring example below comes from the original Kate vs. Shannon brawl. It shows real published results; Sequin Showdown is still waiting for its first eligible scored episode.

My Account is where you choose your display name and a preset avatar, or keep your initials. Picking a favourite face for your profile does not affect your draft.
You can also manage your sign-in email and optional news preference. Everything is separate from your team’s saved picks and scores.
