Terms of Service
Last updated: September 23, 2026
These Terms explain the ground rules for using Ballroom Brawlers. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
What Ballroom Brawlers is
Ballroom Brawlers is a free fantasy game for two people to run a private head-to-head competition based on Dancing with the Stars. Players draft competitors, make predictions, enter and review results, and track scores.
It is an independent fan project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or associated with Dancing with the Stars, ABC, Disney, BBC Studios, or the show’s performers, producers, broadcasters or rights holders. Third-party names, trademarks, images and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping access to your email or Google identity secure and for activity under your account. Do not impersonate someone else or intentionally mislead others about your identity. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support@ballroombrawlers.com.
Brawls and invitations
Each brawl is intended to be private between two players. Only invite someone you reasonably believe wants to participate. Treat your opponent with respect, even when their predictions are deeply questionable.
Scores and results
Episode results are imported from Wikipedia into a shared results service. Supported, complete results are processed automatically; unusual formats, incomplete information and corrections may require central review. Each player chooses when to reveal their results. Scores can be wrong because of incorrect source information, user input, software bugs, rule interpretations or changes to the television show. We do not guarantee scoring accuracy.
If something looks wrong, the appropriate response is preferably good-natured outrage followed by checking the numbers.
No gambling
Ballroom Brawlers is for entertainment and friendly competition. It is not a sportsbook, does not accept wagers, does not facilitate betting and does not operate paid prize competitions.
If you independently attach money or prizes to a game, you are responsible for complying with applicable laws. Ballroom Brawlers is not a party to that arrangement, and you must not use the service for unlawful gambling.
Acceptable use
Do not use Ballroom Brawlers for:
- Illegal activity, unlawful gambling or harassment.
- Accessing accounts or private brawls without authorization.
- Security attacks, malicious software or attempts to bypass access controls.
- Unreasonable automated traffic that disrupts the service.
- Misrepresenting Ballroom Brawlers as an official Dancing with the Stars product.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Ballroom Brawlers permission to store, process and display it as necessary to operate the service, including showing appropriate game information to your opponent. Only submit content you have the right to use.
Availability and changes
Ballroom Brawlers is an evolving project. Features may change, temporarily fail, need maintenance, or be added or removed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability or permanent storage of game information.
Third-party services
The site relies on outside providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery and infrastructure. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control the television show or external sources used for results.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. To that same extent, Ballroom Brawlers and its operator are not responsible for losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.
This includes loss of data, loss of access, reliance on an incorrect result, or, regrettably, losing a brawl and having to hear about it for the rest of the season.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Stopping use and suspension
You can stop using the service at any time. To request account deletion, contact privacy@ballroombrawlers.com. We may suspend or end access for abuse, security concerns, unlawful conduct, serious violations of these Terms, or risks to users or the service.
Governing law
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date above will show the latest update; significant changes may also be communicated through the service.
