How Ballroom Brawlers scoring and standings work

The judges bring the paddles. Ballroom Brawlers adds the fantasy points. Your standings show how your drafted team performed, how well you called the night, and who is ahead overall.

Main League is your team’s score. Predictions is your correct calls. Overall adds the two together.

What earns Main League points?

Your drafted couples earn their judges’ points at a one-to-one rate, plus the applicable bonuses below. Weekly Results breaks those points down so you can see where the total came from.

  • Outright highest score: +5; a tied high score: +3.
  • A perfect dance: +5 per episode.
  • Surviving a non-finale episode: +2.
  • Finale placements: +25 for first, +15 for second, +10 for third and +5 for fourth, replacing the survival bonus.

Main League counts your roster’s fantasy points. Predictions counts points from your correct weekly calls. Overall combines both. Switch between the categories to see whether it was your draft or your predictions that made the difference.

In this captured Kate vs. Shannon example, Kate has 138 Main League points and Shannon has 137. Both earned 10 prediction points, bringing Overall to 148 and 147. These are results from the original brawl, not Sequin Showdown.

Watch the episode, then reveal your results

Verified results arrive automatically after the episode. Each player chooses “I’ve watched” to reveal their own scores, standings and eliminations. Your rival can reveal theirs when they are ready.

Results need to be available before they can be revealed. This is a checked scoring update after the show, rather than a promise of live scoring during each dance.

The results source control explains the Wikipedia source behind a verified episode. Source corrections are reviewed centrally and recorded with a reason. Players do not enter their own competing versions of the judges’ scores.

Points start with your brawl’s first eligible episode. You do not receive retroactive points for earlier episodes. Eliminated couples retain earned points but do not earn future performance points.

Common questions

Ties share the bragging rights.

Do I need to calculate and enter scores?

No. Verified episode results arrive automatically, and the game calculates the fantasy totals.

Why is my new team still on zero?
